No. Download the app and start practising right away — the free diagnostic runs without signing in. Signing in with Apple or Google is optional: it backs up your progress and syncs it across your devices.

Take the free score diagnostic. It samples all seven Parts, gives you an estimate on the 990 scale, and shows which Parts are costing you the most points. Then set your exam date and target score, and let the daily 15 questions take it from there.

Yes. The app follows your device language by default; change it any time under Settings → Language.

Subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple or Google, not by us. Cancel under iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or Google Play → Payments & subscriptions; deleting the app does not cancel. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds follow Apple's and Google's own policies — request them there, and email us if you get stuck.

Yes. On a device signed in to the same App Store or Google Play account, open the Pro screen and tap Restore purchases. To share Pro between iPhone and Android, sign in to the app with the same Google account on both (the Android app does not offer Sign in with Apple), then restore.

No — and no app's are. Every one of the 28,189 items is original, written for Handy 990 to match the current TOEIC Listening & Reading format, and comes with an explanation in your language. Difficulty is calibrated against a reference corpus, and we publish how. TOEIC is a trademark of ETS, which is not affiliated with this app.

10,138 questions across Listening Parts 1–4 and Reading Parts 5–7, plus 18,051 supplemental drills for vocabulary, phrases, collocations, grammar and error correction — 28,189 in total (verified 2026-08-02) and still growing. Free users can reach all of it; only the daily pace is metered.

All 4,458 listening items are fully voiced with high-quality natural voices, pre-rendered so they play offline, and the question prompts in Parts 3 and 4 are read aloud just as on the real test. A separate Accent Training module lets you compare the same sentence in American, British and Australian pronunciation.

Tap Report on that question — it goes straight to the developer with the question attached. Follow what happened under Settings → My reports; confirmed fixes ship in the next content update, and the app keeps count of your contributions.

It is an estimate, not a promise. It is built from every answer you give, with recent evidence weighted more, and the method is public. When learners have sent us their official scores, listening has tracked within the exam's own margin of error while reading drifts more — we publish those comparisons too. Practising untimed or replaying audio tends to inflate it; drilling only your weak spots tends to deflate it.

The default plan is 15 questions a day — about ten minutes — drawn from the Parts where you lose the most points. Consistency beats volume: a short daily session plus mistake review moves your score more than a weekend binge. Set your exam date and target in the app so the countdown keeps you honest.

Three things sit alongside the practice. Grammar lessons: 33 short readings on the grammar TOEIC tests, free to browse before you drill. Accent Training: hear the same sentence in American, British and Australian pronunciation, then quiz yourself on telling them apart. Part strategy guides for all seven Parts, plus interactive strategy walkthroughs for Parts 5–7 that solve real questions step by step. And every question you answer comes with a full explanation, so the drilling teaches too.

A session the app assembles from your current weaknesses across all seven Parts, so your time goes where the points are. Free accounts get one 15-minute session a day; Pro gets unlimited sessions of up to 90 minutes, with the full report.

Words and phrases you mark go into Smart Review, a spaced-repetition scheduler (FSRS) that shows each card just before you would forget it. It introduces 20 new words a day by default; Infinity Mode lifts that cap for a session when you want more. The whole vocabulary suite — practice, flashcards, spelling and more — is free. Not necessarily. Every 7 streak days you earn a streak freeze, which is used automatically to cover a missed day. You can also mark weekly Rest days in Settings — they never break the streak. No guilt trips, by design.

Yes, and all of it is free. Word and phrase arcade games such as Word Invaders and the Word Sweep game turn review into play; the vocabulary campaign lets you conquer 77 castles level by level; streaks come with freezes and Rest days, and Achievements mark your milestones. There are also quite a few easter eggs hidden around the app. We are not saying where.

Yes. Settings → Study time report turns your practice history into a PDF: study days, questions answered and the hours the app infers from them, plus your name, organisation and employee ID if you need them for a training subsidy or a school. The hours are an estimate you can correct before generating — you know how long you spent; the app only guesses. The form stays on your device and is never synced, and the feature is free for everyone.

Yes. Questions, explanations and the first set of listening audio for every Part are bundled, so you can practise on a plane straight after installing. The rest of the listening audio downloads as you reach it; to pre-load everything, open Settings → Offline listening (there is a Wi-Fi-only switch). American vocabulary pronunciations are bundled; the British and Australian packs are Pro downloads.

Sign in on the old device (Settings → Back up & sync) so your progress is backed up, then sign in with the same account on the new one (use a Google account if you are moving between iPhone and Android). Progress from both devices is merged — streaks, history, mistakes, vocabulary review state — rather than one overwriting the other. Without an account, progress lives only on the device.

The app runs without an account and stores your practice on your device. If you sign in, your learning progress is backed up to the cloud so it can be restored. We show no ads and sell no data. Anonymous usage and crash statistics help us find bugs; switch them off under Settings → Usage & crash reports. Details in the privacy policy.

Settings → Back up & sync → Delete account removes your account and its cloud backup. Data stored only on the device goes when you uninstall the app.
